Archuletta's opener Benton Paul was outstanding!!!

I know this post might really destroy some peoples perception of David Archuletta, but I'm going to unload anyways! On Friday morning before the concert Rosie and I were offered some tickets to go see the American Idol runner up David Archuletta and to be completely honest we weren't all that impressed! Well the only thing that really impressed us was how many girl under the age of 12 are madly in love with the guy and how loud they can scream when they want him to know that he really ROCKS their world! Truly in all the concerts I have been to this was by far the loudest concert I have ever experienced...not because the music was loud but because the constant ear drum rupturing screams of five thousand young girls for David Archuletta never stopped! I honestly woke up Saturday morning after the concert with a headache from the night before! Anyway as I mentioned Rosie and I weren't impressed with David but his opening act Benton Paul from Highland, Utah was oustanding! His music was so chill that we couldn't wait for David Archuletta to finish his show to get home to download Benton's CD. From those who love sample day at the store, please enjoy a sample of Benton Pauls "Paris." We also really like "The Devil," "Look for the Light," and "Favorite Thing." If you're ready for some new great music you'll have to check this guy out he is so talented! Here is the link to his myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/bentonpaul

Too Ligit to Quit

Just over a week ago James and I were honored to be able to attend the ONLY
MC Hammer/Vanilla Ice Concert in 18 years!!! WOW!!

Two things I know for sure after last Friday:

MC HAMMER IS TOO LIGIT TO QUIT
and
The only Vanilla & Ice I want to ever experience again is the Ice that is cooling my Diet Vanilla Coke from Hires!!!

P.S. The people watching was almost as extraordinary as the Poison Concerts...
Exhibit 1: Lonely Boy
(literally meaning Boy at the concert sitting by himself... THE WHOLE TIME)
that learned the "head shoulders knees & toes" song without the
"eyes, ears, mouth and nose" part....

"-Where do I put my goggles again???"
