These are the Days!!

Deacon has been keeping me very busy this Fall so I haven't had much time for blogging but I thought I'd post about the last 3 months anyway!!  Time used to fly by but now it seems that weeks pass every time I blink!!  I am loving these days with Deacon growing so big but he is growing so big, so fast!!!

Deacon makes messes...

...and sometimes he also helps me clean up the messes!!

...and fix things for me around the house using his tools!!

When he isn't making messes or helping me around the house, D goes to swim lessons!
Deacon started swim lessons at Swim Kids in August and loved going every week! He learned how to hum underwater and kick his little legs and "scoop" his little hands and to float on his back! This boy loves to play in the water!!

When he isn't making messes, helping me clean, or swimming, he is cheering on the Utes at Utah Football games!!

When he isn't making messes, cleaning, swimming or cheering on the Utes, he is watching his Dad score Try's and playing with his buddies!

I am so proud of the boys for making it to the Semi-finals at Ruggerfest this year!! It was a total bummer to see them lose by only 1 point to a team from England but I was so totally impressed by them and all their hard work and killer Rugby skills!!

Deacon really looks up to his daddy!!

When he isn't making messes, cleaning, swimming, cheering on the Utes or watching his Dad score Try's and playing with his buddies, he is looking in the sky at Hot Air Balloons at the Snowmass Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival!

When he isn't making messes, cleaning, swimming, cheering on the Utes or watching Rugby and playing with his buddies or attending hot air balloon festivals, he is having his first official hair cut!

Thank heavens for the "itsy bitsy spider" app!

When he isn't making messes, cleaning, swimming, cheering on the Utes, watching Rugby, playing with his buddies, attending hot air balloon festivals, or getting a haircut, he is taking family pictures!

...and then more family pictures...

When he isn't making messes, cleaning, swimming, cheering on the Utes, watching Rugby, playing with his buddies, attending hot air balloon festivals, getting a haircut or taking family pictures, he is suiting up to play in the Turkey Bowl with the big boys!
(we were minus a few boys in the picture due to a seriously gross head trauma that required a recently graduated Physicians Assistant, a Medical Student and their father's dental office and supplies to stitch their friend's eyebrow back together! I would post the picture but it may make some people sick!!)

(...and then being so helpful watching his dad fry our very first Turkey!!)
The marinade consists of a ton of Creole seasoning, Cayenne and Black pepper and Italian Dressing... Seems (and smells) super gross but makes surprisingly DELISH turkey!!
Dylan helped make sure the turkey didn't blow up!!

When he isn't making messes, cleaning, swimming, cheering on the Utes, watching Rugby, playing with his buddies, attending hot air balloon festivals, getting a haircut, taking family pictures or playing flag football, he is inventing things to use everyday objects for...
Like finding a new place to sleep!
or using a strainer as a helmet and then running around the house!
or using his ball holder as full body armor so that he can run into things and not get hurt!!

And when he is not busy making messes, cleaning, swimming, cheering on the Utes, watching Rugby, playing with his buddies, attending hot air balloon festivals, getting a haircut, taking family pictures,  playing flag football or inventing games he spends time just being my silly little Deacon...

These are the days of my life!!!
