In a New York Minute...

This past weekend we had the pleasure of visiting New York for a few short days to celebrate our sister in-law Heather's graduation from City College. She not only received her Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture, but was the recipient of the award for "Best Thesis." We loved being able to see family in New York and enjoy the "Big Apple" city life. Thanks to our local tour guides we ate extremely well at all classic local places. It was nice to relax and enjoy a great meal and some time to celebrate. During our time there we were able to find some time to visit a few of the sights, some of the highlights included the view from our Hotel of "Ground Zero," our visit to Central Park, Times Square, Brooklyn and The Gershwin Theater to see Wicked. The play incidentally was absolutely outstanding and we were so glad we were able to see it in such a fun place. In fact, Rosie was so crazy about it that she has concluded that we will have to visit several more time so that we can see Sam and Heather again along with more Broadway shows. It was a short trip but just enough to give you a well deserved break from the everyday routine.
